Martin Dubravka is set to accomplish a career ambition at Manchester United this season. After United announced on Tuesday that an agreement had been reached to sign Antony from Ajax, the club will make Dubravka their sixth and final signing of the summer transfer window.

The 33-year-old will be brought in to provide competition to David de Gea. De Gea has been criticised at times already this campaign and, with Dean Henderson on loan at Nottingham Forest, there has been a shortage of options for Erik ten Hag to call upon between the sticks.

As for Dubravka, he had seen his involvement at St James' Park fazed out since the arrival of Nick Pope in the summer. ALSO READ: United stance on more deals after Antony and Dubravka The Slovakian did not feature in the matchday squad at all on Sunday as Eddie Howe's side drew at Wolves.
