GEORDIE Shore star Marnie Simpson has lost more than three stone since giving birth last year and now weighs less than she did before she fell pregnant.

Marnie, 28, revealed she was forced to give up sugar, drink lots of water and eat plenty of fruit and vegetables in order to help treat a rare bacterial infection she suffered after giving birth to son Rox in October.

Marnie's doctors were clear, in order to treat the infection she had to build up her strength and immunity, which meant overhauling her diet completely. "I couldn’t eat anything with sugar in, and everything’s got sugar in," she told OK!.
