Maren Morris Has Epic Response to Tucker Carlson's Fox News Exit

Maren Morris is reacting to Tucker Carlson‘s sudden exit from Fox News. On Monday (April 24), the network announced that they were no longer working with the 53-year-old controversial political commentator in a decision made effective immediately.

Following the announcement, the 33-year-old country music singer took to social media to celebrate Tucker‘s exit. Keep reading to find out more… “Happy Monday, MotherTucker,” Maren wrote in an Instagram Story featuring a screenshot from a 2022 segment of Tucker Carlson Tonight where Tucker referred to her as a “lunatic country music person.” She also shared a graphic on Story that read, “the only tuckers allowed are the drag queens.” Back in September 2022, Maren was the subject of a Tucker Carlson Tonight episode when he interviewed Jason Aldean‘s wife, Brittany, over an insensitive transphobic joke she made and was called out by Maren, as well as Cassadee Pope.

During the episode, Tucker called Maren both a “lunatic” and a “fake country music singer.” Maren then decided lean into Tucker‘s comments by creating a “Maren Morris Lunatic Country Music Person” T-shirt with all proceeds being split between the Trans Lifeline organization and GLAAD’s Transgender Media Program.
