Manchester United have lost ground in the race for the top-four after their last two Premier League fixtures were postponed due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis working its way across English football.
United's trip to Brentford last Tuesday evening was called off less than 24 hours before kick-off, before Saturday's planned tussle with Brighton & Hove Albion was postponed last Thursday, meaning United, as things stand, will not take to the pitch again until December 27, when they travel to St James' Park to face Newcastle United.
