A new bus gate has been installed on Bridge Street in Manchester city centre. Cameras will enforce the new bus gate, which only allows buses and other approved vehicles to travel through.

Bus gates have also been installed in Piccadilly Gardens and Oxford Road to improve journey times for passengers. The council has not yet set a date for when the bus gate will become operational.

However, it has promised commuters that more information will be coming in the next few weeks.
