Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made a rare admission over "incredible talent" Kevin de Bruyne. De Bruyne, the club's longest-serving player, has now been at City for seven years.
The midfielder joined the Blues from Wolfsburg in 2015 and has been instrumental to the club's recent success. The 31-year-old has provided three assists and scored one goal during his four league appearances so far this Premier League season as the Belgian looks to improve on his own personal record.
During the 2021/22 campaign, De Bruyne scored 15 goals in the league, his highest return in England so far. It is hard to always find the superlatives for De Bruyne's performances – something that his manager is all too aware of. Guardiola recently praised the midfielder during his press conference ahead of City's game against Forest, and unusually admitted that he does not have all the words to describe De Bruyne.
