Man in his 30s dead after 'medical episode' at city centre cafe

A man in his 30s has died after suffering a 'medical episode' at a city centre cafe, police have said. Emergency services responded to the incident outside the venue on Great Ancoats Street at around 5.50pm last night.

A police cordon was put in place in the smoking area of the cafe at Islington Wharf. Police confirmed this morning a man has died.

There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
