Huge emergency response after teenage boy hit by a tram

A huge emergency response was prompted after a teenage boy was hit by a tram in Tameside. The incident happened close to Ashton Moss Metrolink station, beside Lord Sheldon Way, just after 5pm last night (Thursday).

All tram services between Droylsden and Ashton-under-Lyne were immediately stopped last night whilst investigations took place.
