Thousands of people are queuing up to pay their respects to the Queen at Westminster Hall. The Queen will lie in state from 5pm Wednesday until 6.30am on Monday, the day of the funeral.

The planned route of the queue stretches from the Palace of Westminster, along Lambeth Bridge, then up Belvedere Road behind the London Eye.

According to an official map published by the Department for Media, Culture and Sport, the queue will end at Southwark Park.

Those in the queue are permitted to have foldable camping chairs, but cannot set up tents while they wait. People do not need a ticket to attend, however they have been warned that they could be queueing for a long time, with many expected to wait overnight.
