As week three in the Love Island villa drew to a close on Friday, the Island couples were certainly feeling closer than ever as they turned up the heat with more than a few steamy make-out sessions.
Yet while fans at home certainly didn’t begrudge the stars for finding romance and enjoying a dreamy summer fling, many viewers could’ve done without the high definition sound effects picked up by the cast’s microphones during their sustained kisses!
The first couple to fall victim to the microphone’s sensitivity were Whitney Adebayo and Mehdi Edno, who enjoyed a reconciliatory kiss after having patched things up over their previous row on Thursday, when Mehdi revealed he wanted to get to know other Islanders.
Yet rather than being a sweet moment, the loud sound effects had several fans reaching for the remote as they begged producers to stop airing scenes with such vivid and unavoidable kissing noises. “Ewww!
