Love Island has aired a dramatic new twist during tonight's instalment, as two couples were told they had to split up and two brand new bombshells were introduced.

After an episode filled with rows and drama, it was make or break for the islanders as Maya Jama arrived to order the islanders to decide on who they thought were the least compatible couples.

After an awkward reveal, Jess Harding and Sammy Root, and Mitchel Taylor and Leah Taylor were voted the least compatible and forced to stand in front of the fire pit.

As the couples panicked over their future on the island, presenter Maya announced that they would all be single and banned from recoupling with each other at the next recoupling.
