Lottie Ryan opens up about ‘horrific’ moment she learned of her father’s passing

Ahead of the 10 year anniversary of Gerry Ryan’s death, his daughter Lottie has opened up about learning of his passing. She revealed that she was ‘totally shattered’ by the news of his death.

Lottie was only 23 when her dad passed away suddenly ten years ago, at the age of 53, after he suffered a heart attack. She opened up about the day on Brian Dowling’s podcast Death Becomes Him, confessing it was the hardest day of her life. ‘I think that’s the hardest part of it for me, that moment in my head, I probably still haven’t fully become comfortable with it because it was just… my whole life changed in an instant,’ she explained. ‘I obviously wasn’t expecting the news when I got the news, so I just felt like my whole world suddenly
