Ryan Tubridy has opened up about Gerry Ryan’s death ahead of his 10th anniversary saying only feels like six months ago. The Late Late Show host has recalled his colleagues untimely passing 10 years on and revealed how not just himself but everyone in RTE still misses him terribly.

Opening up to RSVP, Ryan said that Gerry was a huge influence for everyone in RTE and those in his personal life. ‘It feels like it happened six months ago, I miss him every time I think of him, which is a lot,’ Ryan said. ‘Even this season with Gay, Marian and Larry gone, it makes it even worse.’ ‘It is a very tricky one for everyone but we will remember him well on radio and television.
