The suspected Liverpool terrorist could have blown himself up with a device similar to the one used in the Manchester Arena bombing, it is understood.

Emad Al Swealmeen died in the blast in a taxi outside Liverpool Women’s Hospital shortly before 11am on Rememberance Sunday (November 11).

The driver of the taxi, David Perry, escaped the vehicle seconds after the device exploded. MPs in the House of Commons today suggested that the device used could be an improvised explosive known as TATP, also known as 'Mother of Satan' - the same type of bomb used in the 2017 Manchester terror attack at the Arena, the Liverpool Echo reports.
