Liverpool hospital attack suspect Emad Al Swealmeen pictured as he is revealed as 'Christian convert'

This is the man suspected of detonating a bomb outside Liverpool Women's Hospital. Emad Al Swealmeen, who also went by the name of Enzo Almeni, died in the blast when an improvised device went off in a taxi just before 11am on Remembrance Sunday, police said.

The 32-year-old was the passenger in the taxi - the driver, named as David Perry, was injured but managed to escape and has since been released from hospital.

Four men arrested in connection with the explosion, which has been declared a terrorist attack, have been released without charge.

Al Swealmeen was named by counter-terror authorities on Monday as an appeal was put out for anyone with details about his life to get in touch - 'no matter how small they may be'. READ MORE: Four
