A hero taxi driver who was caught up in the Liverpool terror attack has thanked the public for their ‘amazing generosity’. Emergency services were called to Liverpool Women's Hospital on Crown Street at 10.59am last Sunday (November 14) to reports of a car engulfed in flames.

One man died and another suffered serious injuries, Merseyside Police later confirmed.
