Later this month, audiences will finally get to watch the highly anticipated sequel to Tom Cruise‘s beloved 1980s fighter pilot action pic “Top Gun.” There is already some early buzz on “Top Gun: Maverick” after a screening at CinemaCon 2022 in Las Vegas that seems to indicate that the extended wait, due to multiple release date hiccups, will be worth it. The film is directed by Joseph Kosinski (“Tron Legacy,” “Oblivion“) with longtime Cruise collaborator Christopher McQuarrie (“Jack Reacher,” “Mission: Impossible – Fallout“) joining the project to help both produce and work on the script.

Porridge Radio have shared their brand new single ‘End Of Last Year’, which is a love song frontwoman Dana Margolin wrote for the band.The track is taken from the Brighton band’s upcoming third album ‘Waterslide, Diving Board, Ladder To The Sky’ and follows on from singles ‘The Rip’ and ‘Back To The Radio’.Speaking about the song, Margolin said: “‘End Of Last Year’ is a love song for my bandmates and for myself. It’s about not trusting my intuition, not trusting my body to heal itself, not trusting the people closest to me, but it is also an ode to all those people, and to difficult platonic love.“It came out of a particularly painful period of communication breakdown and high pressure that hurt a lot, but ended in reconciliation and understanding.”‘End Of Last Year’ arrives alongside a video directed by Maura Sappilo.

A few days after “Top Gun: Maverick” premiered at CinemaCon, now you can listen to the song Lady Gaga wrote for the film.The song, “Hold My Hand,” was posted on Spotify Monday night. Listen to it now:The singer posted about the song on Instagram last Wednesday, describing her process of making it.“When I wrote this song for ‘Top Gun: Maverick,’ I didn’t even realize the multiple layers it spanned across the film’s heart, my own psyche, and the nature of the world we’ve been living in,” she wrote in the caption.

Lady Gaga has shared a brief snippet of her upcoming Top Gun: Maverick song ‘Hold My Hand’ – check it out below.Due to arrive tomorrow (May 3), the track was produced by Gaga along with BloodPop and Benjamin Rice. It also features production and score music by Harold Faltermeyer and Hans Zimmer.The pop star announced ‘Hold My Hand’ last week, revealing that she had been working on it “for years”.Gaga has now shared a 10-second clip of the single’s official video.

Denise Van Outen has revealed she held her 11 year old daughter Betsy back a year in school so she could catch up after lockdown affected her learning. Betsy, who has dyslexia and dyspraxia, is due to start secondary school in September. Former Celebrity Gogglebox star Denise exclusively told OK! about the decision after Betsy, who she shares with ex-husband and actor Lee Mead, struggled with homeschooling during the pandemic.

The two were in Hawaii for former  Editor-in-Chief Laura Brown's wedding and, according to a source, were enjoying some time on Shipwreck Beach ahead of a dinner reception. Prior to their vacation PDA, the two had managed to keep their romance out of the spotlight save for being photographed out to dinner together in early April.  During a recent appearance on podcast, Long did not mention Bosworth by name, but did confirm he's found «the one.»«It's weird. I want to [talk about it], but I also want to be protective,» Long explained.

Arcade Fire have released ‘Unconditional I (Lookout Kid)’, the latest single to be taken from their forthcoming album ‘WE’.The track was initially teased by the band on April 12, when frontman Win Butler posted a video on Instagram of a vinyl version of the album playing. “Next single is,” he is heard saying before a slow strumming song kicks off with the lyrics “Lookout kid trust your heart / you don’t have to play the part.”‘Unconditional I (Lookout Kid)’ has now been shared by the band on their social media, with a caption on Instagram reading: “There’s nothing saccharine about unconditional love in a world that is coming apart at the seams.

Charli XCX song called ‘Hot Girl’ has been previewed in the trailer for upcoming horror film Bodies Bodies Bodies.Directed by Halina Reijn, the A24 film follows Sophie (Amandla Stenberg) as she hosts a house party to introduce her girlfriend Bee (Maria Bakalova) to her group of friends. As they play a murder-in-the-dark game which ends in a real-life murder, the group have to investigate who is responsible.Arriving earlier today (April 26), the movie’s trailer features a new song by Charli XCX, who released her latest album, ‘Crash’, back in March.
