Fountains of Wayne reunited for their first live performance in seven years to remember Adam Schlesinger, their co-founding group member who died on April 1 due to complications from coronavirus.  Musicians Chris Collingwood, Jody Porter, Brian Young and Sharon Van Etten were among dozens to participate in Wednesday's Jersey 4 Jersey concert special to benefit the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund. Late-night star Stephen Colbert introduced the group, remarking, "I was lucky enough to work with one of their founding members, longtime Montclair resident Adam Schlesinger, who tragically passed away from the coronavirus.

The live-stream concert phenom continues in earnest this weekend with a couple of powerful multi-artist bills, starting with Sunday’s stripped-down, all-star version of the Grand Ole Opry with acoustic performances by Vince Gill, Brad Paisley and Marty Stuart, stepping into the Ryman without a live audience or the usual backing crew.

Sharon Van Etten has postponed her 2020 spring tour. In a post on Instagram, Van Etten announced that her April tour dates will be postponed “in light of COVID-19.” “Everyone’s safety and well-being is always our #1 concern, especially during this sensitive time.” she wrote. Van Etten also stated that the rescheduled dates will be announced “when it’s appropriate.” Find her full post below.
