justjared.comLionel Messi kicked off his Inter Miami career with a major win! The 36-year-old athlete scored the game winning goal in his debut game during the Leagues Cup 2023 match with Cruz Azul.
Held at DRV PNK Stadium on Friday (July 21) in Florida, Lionel celebrated with his teammates while a ton of celebrities – including LeBron James, Serena Williams and Kim Kardashian looked on. David Beckham and Victoria Beckham were also there with their daughter, Harper, capturing the moment on video.
According to USA Today, Lionel didn’t start the game, but came in on the 54th minute, and despite a foal at the bitter end of the match, still ending up kicking in the winning goal.
