Legendary cellist Yo-Yo Ma surprised those waiting in a vaccine waiting area at Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield, Massachusetts on Saturday (March 13).
The 65-year-old musician decided to play for those in the vaccination waiting area as he waited the required 15 minutes after his second dose to ensure he did not have an adverse reaction. “Today at the #MyBCC vaccination clinic, the folks waiting for 15 minutes in observation were graced with the musical talents of the one and only Yo-Yo Ma,” the college posted on Instagram.
They also included a video for fans to get a glimpse of the amazing performance. If you want to see Yo-Yo Ma perform live in person, it looks like he has some events scheduled in the coming months!
