Lanarkshire teacher could be struck off after being accused of touching two young boys

A former East Kilbride school teacher faces being struck off after allegedly making sexual remarks and inappropriately touching two young boys.The unnamed man, who was a staff member at a school in the town, has had a number of allegations made against him dating back to the 1990s.He is now set to go before the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) on Tuesday, January 25.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

The boy is said to have been aged between 11 and 14 at the time.He is also alleged to have had the boy over to his house where he performed a massage on the youngster and touched his private parts.These incidents are alleged to have taken place between August 1994 and February 1997.He is also accused of making a string of lewd comments to the pupil, including asking if the boy had ever compared penis sizes with his friends.And it is alleged he bought the pupil gifts of clothing, DVDs and alcohol as well as paying for a gym membership and taking the child there during this time.He is also alleged to have asked Pupil A to remove his clothes and giving him a box of condoms.The accused faces similar charges involving a second boy, known as Pupil B, between August 2013
