A Kirkcudbright helpline offering vital support to vulnerable people during the pandemic received more than 80 calls in its first week.Coronavirus Community Help Kirkcudbright’s team of 75 volunteers offer support in a variety of ways from picking up shopping to walking dogs.Stats collated by the group’s Audrey Kelly show there were 83 calls in the first seven days and 33 people were helped with their shopping.The group started off as a Facebook page and now has nearly 800 members, all keen to help and share key information – as well as the antics of Dan the Dino.Audrey said: “The group was established to support the most vulnerable people in our community, isolated as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.“The Facebook page helped us find
