Armed cops have shot a man dead after an incident near Kensington Palace in London.Metropolitan Police raced to reports of a man who entered a bank and bookmakers in Marloes Road, Kensington at around 3pm on Saturday, December 11.

The man was then seen getting into a vehicle and fleeing, reports the Mirror. Armed cops swooped on a vehicle less than a mile away under 15 minutes later at Kensington Road and Palace Gate.Metropolitan Police said shots were fired and a man was pronounced dead at 4.08pm.The London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance were also called to the scene.The incident is not being treated as terrorism.Officers also confirmed it's not connected to the palace - the home of Prince William, Kate Middleton and their
