The police watchdog has launched an investigation after a man's body found on the M67 was reportedly hit by a Greater Manchester Police vehicle.

Officers were called out to reports of a body found near junction two, at Denton, at 7am today (December 18). Emergency services attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
