Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.

He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.

Josh O’Connor, who stars in the upcoming film “Challengers” with Zendaya, reveals he tried to “impress” a fellow student at school, who went on to become FKA Twigs. I don’t think she knows who I am.” However, when GQ Hype asked Twigs about O’Connor, the 35-year-old British singer-songwriter replied: “I’m very flattered that he tried to do that because I was definitely not cool and not particularly popular.” Josh O’Connor started his acting career in 2012 and appeared in memorable supporting roles in series such as “Doctor Who” and “Peaky Blinders”.

2017 film “God’s Own Country” set him up for success and he has also featured in the critically acclaimed “The Crown” (seasons 3-4) as Prince Charles.
