President Joe Biden declared a Day of Remembrance on Monday to mark the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Race massacre, an event that left as many Black Americans killed and nearly 10,000 homeless.Biden is visiting Tulsa on Tuesday, when he will deliver remarks and tour the Greenwood Cultural Center and meet with surviving members of the community.“Today, on this solemn centennial of the Tulsa Race Massacre, I call on the American people to reflect on the deep roots of racial terror in our Nation and recommit to the work of rooting out systemic racism across our country,” Biden said in the declaration.The massacre and destruction of Greenwood, the Black community of Tulsa, took place over two days, May 31-June 1, in 1921.He called on
