Jodie Comer has picked up her first Tony Award! The 30-year-old actress won the award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play at the 2023 Tony Awards on Sunday night (June 11) at the United Palace Theatre in New York City’s Washington Heights. Jodie won the award for her performance in the solo show Prima Facie, beating out A Doll’s House‘s Jessica Chastain, Summer, 1976‘s Jessica Hecht, and Ohio State Murders‘ Audra McDonald.
In the audience, Jodie was joined by her brother Charlie, who cheered her on as she accepted the award.
