A Jet2 flight to Manchester Airport was forced to divert to Brussels due to a serious medical emergency. The flight departed from Bodrum on time at 11.30pm last night (September 27).

It was due to land in Manchester at 2am this morning but had to land in the Belgian capital due to the incident. In a text seen by the Manchester Evening News , the airline told passengers there had been a 'serious medical situation'.
