Janey Godley shares smiling selfie as she starts first round of chemotherapy
dailyrecord.co.ukScots comedian Janey Godley will start her first round of chemotherapy today to help eradicate any cancer left behind from her hysterectomy.
Before Christmas, the 61-year-old revealed that she had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and last month she underwent the major surgery to attempt to remove it.However, surgeons said that she had stage 3b cancer which would require further treatment.Today is the day that she starts the treatment and Janey marked the occasion with a smiling selfie.
She wrote: "Up early for my first chemotherapy today, hopefully it will eradicate any wee cancer b******s left behind from the hysterectomy.
