Jane Lynch had so much to say about Glee during a recent interview. The 63-year-old actress, who played cheer coach turned Vice President Sue Sylvester on the hit TV series, revealed her thoughts on returning to the franchise in 2024.
She also opened up about the relationships between the cast on set and celebrated two of her young costars who are doing particularly well at the moment. Keep reading to find out more… Jane told People that she was definitely into the idea of playing Sue again. “It would be so much fun,” she said. “It’s a great character, and I think that, as she ages, 10 years older than the finale, I think there are other things to be added.
I think it would be really fun to play Sue Sylvester 10 years later.” As ever, Sue‘s personality would remain “totally un-woke.” She continued, reflecting on Glee‘s impact: “That show is a big deal.
The character was a big deal. All the characters were a big deal. It kind of hit the psyche of America,” she said. “And it still lives, which is really nice.” Jane offered a glimpse at what the dynamic was like on the set of the show and how the cast keeps together all these years later.
