J. Harrison Ghee is continuing to make history at the 2023 Tony Awards! The 33-year-old actor won the award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical on Sunday night (June 11) at the United Palace Theatre in New York City’s Washington Heights. J.
Harrison picked up the award for their performance as Jerry/Daphne in the musical Some Like It Hot. The win made them not only the second-ever openly non-binary performer to win a Tony for acting, but the second of the night!
