For many the idea of a lads club near Manchester's quays will evoke the name of one venue and one venue only. The Salford Lads Club is the iconic Ordsall meet-up for youths from across the city, a place immortalised by the likes of United player Eddie Colman, Hollies frontman Graham Nash, and The Smiths rock band.
