HE'S the all-singing, all dancing showbiz legend who entertained Britain for decades - now Lionel Blair has sadly left the stage.
The 92-year-old, who lived until a "ripe old age", died surrounded by his family, according to his agent. Behind his beaming smile and cheery persona, the comedian suffered a disrupted childhood growing up in the shadow of World War Two.
When he was just 13, Lionel's dad passed away, forcing him to grow up "artificially fast". Fortunately, he was able to fall back on his devoted wife of five decades, Susan - who he knew he wanted to marry from the moment he saw her.
He also picked up an incredible collection of famous friends from Cilla Black to Rat Pack member Sammy David Jr who saw him through everything.
