Inquest opens into death of toddler Alta Fixsler following legal fight with Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

An inquest has opened into the death of a toddler at the centre of a legal fight over her medical care. Alta Fixsler died on October 18 aged just two-years-old at a hospice.

She had previously been receiving treatment at Royal Manchester Children's hospital, a coroner's court heard today.
