Iman Shumpert Arrested for Marijuana Possession at Dallas Airport

The 32-year-old NBA player, and Dancing with the Stars champ, was arrested over the weekend for possession of marijuana at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport in Texas. Click inside to read more… On Saturday (July 30), police were called after a TSA screening allegedly found a “green leafy substance” in Iman‘s bag, according to Entertainment Tonight.
The substance weighed 6.12 ounces and registered positive for marijuana following a mobile test. Iman admitted that the marijuana belonged to him. Iman was then placed under arrest for marijuana possession and taken to the jail at the airport.
He could face a fine of $10,000 or two years of jail time if convicted of the “state jail felony” charges. As of right now, Iman has not yet publicly addressed his arrest.
