A drug crazed thug stabbed his half-brother to the face with a pair of scissors in a horrendous attack which just missed his eye.

Damian Dawson landed the blow 'very close' to his sibling's left eye, after he'd been accused of stealing drugs. The attacker wielded the scissors again and stabbed him to the hand. Dawson, 35, has now been jailed for 28 months. "He should have been looking after me, not attacking me in the way he did," the 30-year-old said of Dawson. "I do believe if I hadn't managed to kick him off me, then he would have stabbed me even more and probably killed me." Manchester Crown Court heard that Dawson went to his half brother's house and the pair took 'large quantities' of drugs, along with the victim's half brother.
