The Premier League have announced plans for clubs and fans to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II this weekend when Man City play Wolves.

Football fixtures across the UK were postponed last weekend following the Queen's death. The decision sparked plenty of debate as other sports continued playing, including England's Cricket team.

Manchester United's fixture against Leeds United, due to take place on Sunday, has been postponed alongside a handful of other cancellations this weekend, due to a shortage of police officers ahead of the Queen's funeral on Monday, September 19.

However, City's game against Wolves is to go ahead as planned on Saturday, with kick-off at 12.30pm.
