A haunting video has emerged from inside Ayr's Station Hotel as the Victorian building's sorry state is laid bare. The footage was captured by the same urban explorers who visited the crumbling ruin last week.

Still images from that visit revealed the structure rotting from the inside, with ghostly scenes captured in harrowing pictures.

Now further sad evidence has been captured in an 18-minute moving video backed up by a sad piano soundtrack. The moving footage has been shared by Urbex Outlaws who spent 10 hours inside the abandoned once grand hotel.

The hotel has been lying empty for more than four years, with white tarpaulin being used to cover the dangerous site, with scaffolding holding up the hotel and former railway station, costing the taxpayer more than £60,000 per month. It is the second time urban explorers have captured video footage from inside the hotel.
