Haunted Scots pub seeking new publican - if they are brave enough
dailyrecord.co.ukA search has been launched to find a person brave enough to run one of the most haunted pubs in Scotland. With countless ghost stories over the years, The Osnaburg Bar in Forfar has long held a reputation for being one of the most haunted buildings in the northeast.
It's also considered to be one of the most haunted pubs in Scotland. One restless spirit has been spooking people in the pub cellars for many years, with several members of staff over the years reporting unexplainable activity.Paranormal groups and societies have also visited the pub, with claims they found strong evidence of ghostly activities.
Pub owner Greene King is now on the hunt for a brave publican to come in and run the pub on a permanent basis. They say the pub has the potential to be a thriving business and is one of – if not the best – known pubs in Forfar.
Adding that it is in "great condition" and ready for an entrepreneurial publican to come on in and start serving up the spirits (of the alcoholic variety) as well as beer, cider and other drinks.
