Harry Potter star Timothy Spall filmed a new movie using only Scottish locations despite the film also being about England. The English actor who plays Peter Pettigrew in the Harry Potter films made use of the home of the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust in the movie The Last Bus And the film tells the story of journeys from John O’Groats to Land’s End – despite the cast and crew having never left Scotland.Scottish filmmaker Gillies MacKinnon who also made Small Faces and Whisky Galore filmed the movie which is released on Friday across Scotland in October and November 2019.The film tells the story of 90-year-old Tom Harper (Spall) who, after the death of his wife Mary (Phyllis Logan), travels the 874 miles from their home at Scotland’s most.
