Hamilton takeaway House of Shah have again gone that extra mile for people within the community.For the popular curry house has set up their very own daily food bank at the entrance to their Quarry Street premises.And as well as allowing people to pop along and take away items they require, they are also happy to accept donations on the table also.Jahan Shah, who runs the business, told the Advertiser: “We set up a foodbank at the doorway to the shop (from 3pm to 4pm daily) where people who are struggling, or pensioners, can come in and we give them tinned food, pasta packets etc, free of charge.“We have been really shocked at the response.
