Fans haven't seen Sydney since season four, sparking curiosity about what she's been up to.First introduced in season two, Sydney filled in for Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) during her maternity leave.
She even had a brief romance with Derek 'McDreamy' Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) before he settled down with Meredith.It remains to be seen whether Sydney will be filling in for someone else or taking up a more permanent role.
