We sure do love a Greggs in the UK, and especially in Scotland. The iconic blue and gold branding is a feature of high streets - and many other streets - in towns and cities across the country. The popular bakery's pasties, pies, and cakes are a winner for so many Brits - you can nip in and grab your favourite in just a couple of minutes and they are guaranteed to be freshly made and tasty. But despite our fondness for Greggs, we are also fond of a wee moan and one common issue many punters encounter is their food may not be as hot as they want.

But a Greggs worker has revealed why in a bid to stop customers complaining about it every shift, Birmingham Live reports.Posting on her @elliethomas544 TikTok account, the young baker said that patrons regularly ask for their steak bake to be reheated.

Hitting back, Ellie said: "It would be a health hazard to reheat meat!"She also said although the cost of a Greggs meal is considerably lower than rival lunch outlets, people often complain about the price.

But Ellie revealed those complaining about how much their grub is costing, are usually the ones racking up the largest orders. In her video, she also joked about the typical lunch run order for construction workers.
