Greggs confirms plans to reopen UK stores

When lockdown came into place, many of our favourite restaurants and fast food shops took the decision to close. While some have remained open for takeaway and delivery, others decided to shut shop completely.

Amongst those was Greggs, and despite the bakery chain releasing recipes to make some of its most popular products at home, people have been missing their sausage rolls and steak bakes.

Now Greggs has announced its plans to reopen, and will be trialling the opening of a few shops which will offer takeaway. The coronavirus outbreak has left many people across Greater Manchester struggling for access to food, basics and other support.
