Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Celtic defender Greg Taylor says the mid-season training break in Dubai was the turning point in his Hoops career. The left-back arrived from Kilmarnock in the summer but initially struggled to break into the team.

After the winter break though he put in some impressive performances and manager Neil Lennon confirmed the starting shirt is his to lose.

Taylor told Celtic's official website : "It took some time for me to get in the team. "I think a lot of people expect players to just walk into a team because they’ve signed, but you’ve got to earn that right and when the opportunity comes about you have to take it."In terms of highlights this season, the period since returning from Dubai was the most enjoyable.
