Another seven people with coronavirus have died in Greater Manchester's hospitals. It means the death toll in the region's hospitals now stands at 1,702, NHS figures show.
There were another three coronavirus-related deaths at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, while Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust recorded two more deaths.
Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and Stockport NHS Foundation Trust each recorded one more death. Salford Royal - based in a city which has one of the highest coronavirus death rates in the UK - recorded no Covid-19 deaths for the seventh time in the last eight days.
