The story follows an unlikely friendship of an angel, Aziraphale, played by Michael Sheen, and a demon Crowley, played by David Tennant, who band together to try and stop Armageddon.
The second season has been filming in and around Scotland for the last few months as some of the cast and crew were spotted around Glasgow and Edinburgh.Here is everything we know so far about the upcoming Good Omens Season 2..Alongside Tennant, 50, and Sheen, 53, reprising their roles as everyone's favourite angel and devil duo - Jon Hamm is also back.Hamm plays Archangel Gabriel, who is second in command in Heaven after God himself, meaning he plays Aziraphale's boss.
Speaking of Jon's return to the role, co-showrunner Douglas Mackinnon previously said : "Good Omens 2 just would not be the same without the astonishing Jon Hamm as Gabriel, everyone's worst boss. "I couldn't be happier that Jon has come back to do more Good Omens as the Archangel Gabriel, who is second in command in Heaven."He joins us nearly halfway through production, when we have already welcomed to the Good Omens 2 family familiar faces in familiar roles, familiar faces in unfamiliar roles, and unfamiliar faces in unfamiliar roles.
