Glencairn committee members Peter Ferguson has moved to reassure fans that the club are not facing a financial crisis after more games were axed.
Last week Glens gaffer Willie Harvey revealed that the financial situation is overtaking their need for points to avoid relegation from the West Region Premiership after bad weather forced several call-offs.
The backlog could see the struggling side forced to play three or four games a week. However, Ferguson told The Lanarkshire Football Show that the club should be safe with games against Junior giants coming up.
