A man who contacted the Government’s PPE helpline about his 90-year-old disabled mum was told his plea would be responded to within two months.After flagging up a lack of protective equipment, he said it appeared his email would be treated as a freedom of information request.He blasted: “It adds insult to injury when you bring the matter to the attention of the Scottish Government, only to be told your request will be treated as a ‘complaint’ and responded to in 60 days.”  The Government has been under pressure over the lack of PPE during the coronavirus pandemic.Part of the Government’s response was to set up an email hotline for NHS staff to highlight gaps in the system.Health Secretary Jeane Freeman said this week that 1,636 emails had
