The actress - who played Katy Armstrong in the ITV soap before quitting in 2015 - will appear in the upcoming show alongside an array of other stars.
The upcoming sci-fi series will see actors from the likes of Coronation Street, The Inbetweeners and Sherlock all on board. Alongside Georiga, Grantchester's Declan Baxter leads the cast and will be joined by The Inbetweeners' Joe Thomas, Amanda Abbington, Lucien Leon Laviscount, Miles Jupp, and Rob Delaney.
We Are Not Alone will imagine the trajectory of Earth six weeks after an alien race called the Gu'un conquer the planet. The story is set to unfold.
